Acceptable Photo ID and voter registration are required to vote at this election. If you do not have a Photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles. You may register to vote in the Town of Aurora by going online to https://myvote.wi.gov/ and click on “Register to Vote,” or you may register to vote in person in the office at the Aurora Town Hall. REGISTER TO VOTE
To be able to vote in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County, WI, you must register in the Town of Aurora to become a “qualified elector.” A qualified elector is:
* a U.S. citizen who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, August 13, 2024
* a resident of the Town of Aurora for at least 28 consecutive days before the election (deadline July 16, 2024)

Online voter registration: Open for this election through July 24, 2024.
After this date, late registrants must register in-person with the Town Clerk or at the Aurora Town Hall polling place on Election Day.

VOTE BY ABSENTEE BALLOT
Any qualified, registered elector residing in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County, WI, who is unable or unwilling to appear at the designated polling place on Election Day may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to the Town Clerk. You may make a written application to the Town Clerk for an absentee ballot in person, by mail, by email, or online at MyVote.wi.gov.

Aurora Town Clerk Ann Mosling will be offering a 3-hour class where you will learn everything you need know to become an Election Worker and qualify you for appointment to work at any Waushara County polling place for the 2024-2025 election season.
A specific July 2024 training date will be announced soon! Email townauroraclerk@gmail.com or phone 920-229-5583 if you are interested in attending.

2024 Tax Assessment Roll is Open for Examination
The tax assessment roll for the Year 2024 will be open for examination starting on the 3rd day of April, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Aurora Town Hall, W2319 State Road 21, Berlin, WI. Please call the Town Clerk at (920) 229-5583 to make an appointment.
