Acceptable Photo ID and voter registration are required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a Photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.  You may register to vote in the Town of Aurora by going online to and click on “Register to Vote,” or you may register to vote in person in the office at the Aurora Town Hall. To be able to vote in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County, WI, you must register in the Town of Aurora to become a “qualified elector.” A qualified elector is:
* a U.S. citizen who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, August 13, 2024
* a resident of the Town of Aurora for at least 28 consecutive days before the election (deadline July 16, 2024)
Online voter registration:  Open for this election through July 24, 2024.
After this date, late registrants must register in-person with the Town Clerk or at the Aurora Town Hall polling place on Election Day.

In-person Voter Registration:  July 25th through August 11th, 2024, or on Election Day
Any qualified, registered elector residing in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County, WI, who is unable or unwilling to appear at the designated polling place on Election Day may submit a request to vote an absentee ballot to the Town Clerk. You may make a written application to the Town Clerk for an absentee ballot in person, by mail, by email, or online at

Vote Absentee Ballot via Mail, Email, or Online:  June 27th through August 8th, 2024

Vote Absentee Ballot In-Person:   July 30th through August 11th, 2024 
(except hospitalized electors and sequestered jurors)

Being an Election Worker is a great and satisfying way to serve your community!  It's fun, it's easy, and you will be paid for your time.
Aurora Town Clerk Ann Mosling will be offering a 3-hour class where you will learn everything you need know to become an Election Worker and qualify you for appointment to work at any Waushara County polling place for the 2024-2025 election season.

ARPA Well Grant Program available to Town of Aurora Home Owners

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Well Grant Program is providing funding up to $16,000 to eligible well and water system owners to replace, reconstruct, treat, or abandon their wells or water systems. Click HERE for more details.


2024 Tax Assessment Roll is Open for Examination

The tax assessment roll for the Year 2024 will be open for examination starting on the 3rd day of April, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Aurora Town Hall, W2319 State Road 21, Berlin, WI.  Please call the Town Clerk at (920) 229-5583 to make an appointment.

Waushara County has a new Emergency Alert System called Hyper-Reach.  This new emergency alert system will provide rapid notification of hazardous and urgent situations using a mix of phone calls, text and email messages, and even TTY/TDD service for the hearing impaired.
Waushara County will use Hyper-Reach to alert residents about: 1) severe weather and environmental hazards, such as floods, fire, and public health alerts, 2) missing persons, 3) criminal activity, and 4) other imminent emergency situations.
Landline phones in the Town of Aurora are automatically enrolled for community alerts, but you must specifically enroll to receive Weather alerts to landline phones, and Community & Weather alerts to VoIP phones, mobile phones, and email addresses.
