Waushara County has a new Emergency Alert System called Hyper-Reach.  This new emergency alert system will provide rapid notification of hazardous and urgent situations using a mix of phone calls, text and email messages, and even TTY/TDD service for the hearing impaired.
Waushara County will use Hyper-Reach to alert residents about: 1) severe weather and environmental hazards, such as floods, fire, and public health alerts, 2) missing persons, 3) criminal activity, and 4) other imminent emergency situations.
Landline phones in the Town of Aurora are automatically enrolled for community alerts, but you must specifically enroll to receive Weather alerts to landline phones, and Community & Weather alerts to VoIP phones, mobile phones, and email addresses.
